14 months ahead of their move to the new location, we were contracted to undertake the complete turnkey move management for The Kings School in Macclesfield, Cheshire.

This included the relocation planning, removal and clearance across their two large sites.

Over 2 years, we undertook the pre-planning, move management and removals of the required legacy effects. Plus the complete auction, sale, recycling, removal and final recycling of unwanted assets which involved items from over 1200 rooms and areas within the schools, throughout sites spanning approximately 80 acres.

The project involved us supplying and moving in excess of 5000 plastic crates for the paperwork and small items. The main relocation itself – which took around 8 weeks to complete – involved the loading and unloading of over 220 commercial vehicles over the course of the move.

This was a huge-scale project which Move Management project managed from start to finish, and completed within budget and within the customer’s timeframes – to ensure the new purpose-built facility in Prestbury was ready for teaching at the start of the new school year.
