Our most recent project saw the final farewell of the magnificent Buglawton Hall School in Congleton over the February 2018 half term. The school was closing and needed a full clearance of unwanted furniture and equipment across the main school buildings and various living quarters.
In just two and a half days MMAR were able to sell and rehome over 450 items including unwanted desks, chairs, Smartboards, white goods, commercial kitchen equipment and sports gear – even a porta cabin! Through this, we were able to give our client a nice payback, saving them money and keeping their relocation costs low.
We then recycled the items that were leftover after sales. Including a number of electronics and large amounts of scrap metal recycling, taking minimal waste to landfill, making Buglawton Hall school top of the class for reducing their carbon footprint.
